- 8:21 耶和华闻了那怡爽的香气，就心里说，我不再因人的缘故咒诅地，（人从小时心里怀着恶念，）也不再按着我才行的，灭各种的活物了。
- 8:21 And Jehovah smelled the satisfying fragrance; and Jehovah said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I ever again smite everything living as I have done.

- 8:21 And Jehovah smelled the sweet odour. And Jehovah said in his heart, I will no more henceforth curse the ground on account of Man, for the thought of Man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will no more smite every living thing, as I have done.
- 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour ; and the LORD said in his heart , I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake ; for the imagination of man's heart [ is ] evil from his youth ; neither will I again smite any more every thing living , as I have done .
