27:1Then the daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph came near. And these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah and Tirzah.

27:2And they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the leaders and the whole assembly at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, saying,

27:3Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against Jehovah in the company of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons.

27:4Why should our father's name be taken away from among his family because he had no son? Give us a possession among our father's brothers.

27:5And Moses brought their case before Jehovah.

27:6Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

27:7The daughters of Zelophehad speak rightly. You shall surely give them the possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.

27:8And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.

27:9And if he does not have a daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.

27:10And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers.

27:11And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his relative nearest to him among his family, and he shall possess it. And it shall be a statute of judgment for the children of Israel, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

27:12And Jehovah said to Moses, Go up to this mountain of the Abarim and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

27:13And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, just as Aaron your brother was gathered,

27:14Because you rebelled against My word in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the assembly, and failed to sanctify Me at the waters before their eyes. (These are the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin.)

27:15And Moses spoke to Jehovah, saying,

27:16Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the assembly,

27:17Who will go out before them and who will come in before them, and who will lead them out and who will bring them in; so that the assembly of Jehovah will not be like sheep which have no shepherd.

27:18And Jehovah said to Moses, Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand upon him;

27:19And set him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole assembly, and give him a charge in their sight.

27:20And you shall put some of your honor upon him, so that the whole assembly of the children of Israel may obey him.

27:21And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, and he shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before Jehovah. At his word shall they go out and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, even the whole assembly.

27:22And Moses did as Jehovah commanded him, and he took Joshua and set him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole assembly.

27:23And he laid his hands upon him and gave him a charge just as Jehovah had spoken through Moses.

28:1Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

28:2Command the children of Israel and say to them, My offering, My food for My offerings by fire of a satisfying fragrance to Me, you shall be careful to present to Me at its appointed time.

28:3And you shall say to them, This is the offering by fire which you shall present to Jehovah: two male lambs a year old without blemish each day as a continual burnt offering.

28:4One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight;

28:5Also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with the fourth of a hin of beaten oil.

28:6It is a continual burnt offering, which was set up on Mount Sinai for a satisfying fragrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.

28:7And its drink offering shall be the fourth of a hin for the one lamb; in the sanctuary you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to Jehovah.

28:8And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; you shall offer it with the meal offering and its drink offering as in the morning, an offering by fire, a satisfying fragrance to Jehovah.

28:9And on the Sabbath day two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and its drink offering -

28:10This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

28:11And at the beginnings of your months you shall present a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bulls of the herd and one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;

28:12And three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, for each bull; and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, for the one ram;

28:13And a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering for each lamb for a burnt offering, a satisfying fragrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.

28:14And their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, and a third of a hin for the ram, and a fourth of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.

28:15Also one male goat for a sin offering to Jehovah shall be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

28:16And in the first month on the fourteenth day of the month shall be Jehovah's Passover.

28:17And on the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast; seven days unleavened bread shall be eaten.

28:18On the first day there shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no work of labor;

28:19But you shall present an offering by fire, a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bulls of the herd and one ram and seven male lambs a year old; they shall be without blemish for you;

28:20And you shall offer their meal offering of fine flour mingled with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for a bull and two-tenths for a ram;

28:21You shall offer one-tenth for each lamb of the seven lambs;

28:22And one male goat as a sin offering, to make expiation for you.

28:23You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.

28:24In this way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of the offering by fire, a satisfying fragrance to Jehovah; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

28:25And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no work of labor.

28:31Besides the continual burnt offering and its meal offering, you shall offer them (they shall be without blemish for you) and their drink offerings.
