我向那一个少女说，请你拿下水瓶，给我水喝；她若说，请喝，我也给你的骆驼喝；愿她就作你所定，给你仆人以撒的妻子。这样，我便知道你以慈爱待我主人了。

And may it be that the girl to whom I say, Please let down your pitcher that I may drink, and who says, Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink, may she be the one whom You have appointed for Your servant, for Isaac; and in this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master.

And let it come to pass, [ that ] the maiden to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink, and who will say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also, be she whom thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and hereby I shall know that thou hast dealt kindly with my master.
