- 40:3 耶和华使这祸临到，照祂所说的行了；因为你们得罪耶和华，没有听从祂的话，所以这事临到你们。
- 40:3 And Jehovah has caused it to come to pass and done as He had spoken, because all of you have sinned against Jehovah and have not listened to His voice; therefore this thing has come upon you.

- 40:3 and Jehovah hath brought [ it about ] and done according as he said; for ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not hearkened unto his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.
- 40:3 Now the LORD hath brought [ it , ] and done according as he hath said : because ye have sinned against the LORD , and have not obeyed his voice , therefore this thing is come upon you .
