John 18 ~ 19

18:38Pilate said to Him, What is truth? And having said this, he again went out to the Jews and said to them, I find no fault in Him. Compare
18:39But you have a custom that I release one man to you at the Passover. Is it your will therefore that I release to you the King of the Jews? Compare
18:40Then they cried out again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber. Compare
19:1Therefore at that time Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. Compare
19:2And the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they threw a purple garment around Him. Compare
19:3And they came to Him and said, Rejoice, King of the Jews! and slapped Him. Compare
19:4And Pilate went outside again and said to them, Behold, I am bringing Him out to you that you may know that I find no fault in Him. Compare
19:5Then Jesus came out, wearing the thorny crown and the purple garment. And he said to them, Behold, the man! Compare
19:6When therefore the chief priests and the attendants saw Him, they cried out, saying, Crucify! Crucify! Pilate said to them, You take Him and crucify Him, for I do not find fault in Him. Compare
19:7The Jews answered him, We have a law, and according to that law He ought to die because He made Himself the Son of God. Compare
19:8When Pilate therefore heard this word, he became frightened the more, Compare
19:9And he entered into the praetorium again and said to Jesus, Where are You from? But Jesus gave him no answer. Compare
19:10Therefore Pilate said to Him, You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You and I have authority to crucify You? Compare
19:11Jesus answered him, You would have no authority against Me if it were not given to you from above; for this reason, he who has delivered Me to you has the greater sin. Compare
19:12From then on, Pilate sought to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, If you release this man, you are not a friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself a king opposes Caesar. Compare
19:13Pilate therefore, when he heard these words, brought Jesus outside and sat down on the judgment seat in a place called the Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. Compare
19:14Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, Behold, your King! Compare
19:15They cried out then, Take Him away! Take Him away! Crucify Him! Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king except Caesar. Compare
19:16Therefore at that time he delivered Him to them that He might be crucified. Therefore they took Jesus. Compare
