59:1Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; / Set me on high, secure from those who rise up against me. Compare

59:3For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; / The strong gather themselves against me. / Not because of any transgression of mine nor because of any sin of / mine, O Jehovah, Compare
59:4Not for any fault of mine, they run and ready themselves; / Awake to meet me, and see. Compare
59:5Indeed You, O Jehovah, God of hosts, God of Israel, / Arise to punish all the nations; / Have no mercy upon any who treacherously commit iniquity. Selah. Compare
59:6They return in the evening; / They growl like a dog / And go around the city. Compare
59:7Behold, they belch forth with their mouth; / Swords are in their lips; / For, Who, they say, hears? Compare
59:8But You, O Jehovah, laugh at them; / You have all the nations in derision. Compare
59:9O my strength, I will watch for You; / For God is my high retreat. Compare
59:10My God in His lovingkindness will meet me; / God will let me look triumphantly upon those who lie in wait for me. Compare
59:11Do not slay them, lest my people forget; / Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down, / O Lord our shield. Compare
59:12For the sin of their mouth, / For the word of their lips, / Let them even be taken in their arrogance, / And because of the cursing and the lying that they speak. Compare
59:13Consume them in wrath; consume them so that they are no more; / And men will know that God rules in Jacob / Unto the ends of the earth. Selah. Compare

60:1O God, You have rejected us; You have broken out upon us; / You have been angry. Restore us. Compare

60:6God has spoken in His holiness: I will exult; / I will divide Shechem / And measure out the Valley of Succoth. Compare

60:8Moab is My washbowl; / Upon Edom I will cast My sandal; / Philistia, shout aloud because of Me. Compare
60:9Who will bring me into the besieged city? / Who will lead me to Edom? Compare
60:10Will not You, O God, who rejected us / And who did not go forth, O God, with our armies? Compare
60:11Give us help from the adversary, / For a salvation by man is vain. Compare
60:12In God we will do valiantly, / And it is He who will tread down our adversaries. Compare

61:5For You, O God, have heard my vows; / You have given me the inheritance of those who fear Your name. Compare

62:3How long will you assail a man / So that you may slay him, all of you, / Like a leaning wall or a tottering fence? Compare
62:4They only make plans to thrust him down from his dignity; / They take delight in lies; / With their mouth they bless, / But inwardly they curse. Selah. Compare
62:5My soul, wait in silence for God alone, / For my expectation is from Him. Compare

62:9Men of low degree are but a vapor; / Men of high degree, a lie. / In the balances they go up; / Together they are less than a vapor. Compare
62:10Do not trust in oppression, / And do not vainly hope in robbery; / If wealth increases, / Do not set your heart on it. Compare
62:11Once has God spoken; / Twice have I heard this, / That strength belongs to God. Compare
62:12To You also, O Lord, belongs lovingkindness; / For You repay every man according to his work. Compare

63:1O God, You are my God; I seek You diligently. / My soul thirsts for You, / My flesh faints in longing for You, / In a dry and weary land without water. Compare
63:2So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary, / Seeing Your power and Your glory. Compare
63:3Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, / My lips praise You. Compare
63:4Thus I bless You while I live; / I lift up my hands in Your name. Compare
63:5My soul is satisfied as with the rich fatness, / And my mouth praises You with lips of joyous shouting, Compare

64:1Hear, O God, my voice in my complaint; / Preserve my life from the enemy's dread. Compare
64:2Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, / From the throng of the workers of iniquity, Compare
64:3Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword, / Who have aimed their arrow, their bitter word, Compare
64:4To shoot in secret places at the perfect man. / They shoot suddenly at him and do not fear. Compare
64:5They firm up for themselves an evil matter; / They talk of laying snares secretly; / They say, Who will see them? Compare
64:6They seek out injustices, saying: / We have completed a carefully sought-out plan. / Indeed each man's inward thought / And heart are deep. Compare
64:7But God will shoot an arrow at them; / Suddenly they are wounded. Compare
64:8They are made to stumble over each other by their own tongue; / All who see them shake their heads. Compare
64:9And all men will fear / And declare what has been done by God, / And they will ponder His work. Compare
64:10The righteous man will rejoice in Jehovah and take refuge in Him, / And all the upright in heart will boast. Compare
