9:23Thus says Jehovah, / Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, / And let not the mighty man glory in his might; / Let not the rich man glory in his riches.
Compare

10:4He adorns it with silver and with gold; / They fasten it with nails and hammers / So that it cannot totter.
Compare
-
10:5They are like a post in a cucumber field, / And they cannot speak; / They must be carried / Because they cannot walk. / Do not be afraid of them, / For they cannot do evil, / And neither is it in them to do good.
Compare
-
10:6There is none like You, O Jehovah; / You are great, / And Your name is great in might.
Compare

10:7Who would not fear You, / O King of the nations? / For it befits You, / For among all the wise of the nations / And in all their kingdoms / There is none like You.
Compare

10:8But they are altogether stupid and foolish; / The instruction of their idols is mere wood.
Compare
